Think of the useful parts of an old trade forum: a question you can find again, photos that help explain the job, people who will tell you what they know—and what they don’t.
This is for working HVACR and building performance people. Technicians, contractors, consultants, specialists, and instructors. Residential, commercial, refrigeration, controls, airflow, moisture, and the building around the equipment.
Start with what you’re seeing. Share a photo. Ask for a second set of eyes. Bring back something you learned at the symposium. When you find the answer, close the loop so the next person can learn from it.
Disagree with the diagnosis. Explain your reasoning. Treat the person with respect. No pile-ons, customer ridicule, or hidden sales pitches.

Start a discussion with the session title, presenter, and year if you have them. Tell us what you tried or what you would like to understand. Attendees, virtual viewers, technicians, contractors, specialists, and instructors can all join the discussion. Keep official recordings and course resources in their existing access areas. Link to the official resource instead of reposting someone else’s slides or recording.
