A balanced house is a happy house. And we get there by measuring airflow to ensure the final product matches the design. Test and Balance (TAB) is common in the commercial world; there’s an entire industry dedicated to it. But TAB is just as important in residential buildings, where airflow almost never gets measured. Major comfort problems can occur when bedrooms get over or under-served by the HVAC system. In this session, we’ll cover what happens when houses are out of balance and how to measure airflow in a variety of scenarios to help resolve comfort issues.
