Symposium Virtual Ticket and NATE Credit FAQs

Where can I buy virtual tickets?

You must be logged into the site to purchase tickets, so you must either sign in or sign up for an HVAC School account. Scroll to the bottom of the symposium schedule on the main page (linked above), and there will be a button that says “Get Tickets.” This button will direct you to the ticket selection and payment page.

I have an in-person ticket. Can I watch the sessions I missed virtually after the symposium?

Yes! All ticket holders will be able to watch the sessions online.

Where will I be able to watch the sessions virtually?

Ticket holders will be able to watch and rewatch all sessions on our website after the event. To watch a session, navigate to its page by visiting hvacrschool.com/symposium and clicking on the session title on the interactive calendar.

Will the event be streamed live like in previous years?

Due to the change in venue, we will only be livestreaming the MAIN STAGE this year (left column in the schedule above). The other two stages will be recorded, and our goal is to have those sessions up on their respective pages within 24 hours of their ending, barring any technical difficulties.

How long will I be able to access the sessions?

All ticket holders will be able to access the sessions for at least 9 months after the symposium. Virtual tickets will also remain on sale after the symposium.

How can I receive my NATE credits for attending the symposium?

We will have short quizzes for each session. You will need to receive a passing score on 16 quizzes to receive a certificate, which we will report to NATE.

When and where can I find these quizzes?

Within 4 weeks of the symposium’s end, all ticketholders will receive an email letting them know that the quizzes are open. They will receive instructions on how to access these quizzes in that same email.

Where do I need to add my NATE ID?

You can update your NATE ID on your profile. Click your username at the top right of the page while you’re logged in, and you can enter your NATE ID into its respective field. Make sure you fill out your NATE ID in your profile BEFORE taking the quizzes! We will use this ID when we submit the certificates.

Can I receive partial credit for completing a few quizzes?

No, you will need to pass 16 quizzes to receive a certificate and 16 NATE continuing education credits. We share the information on these certificates with NATE and can NOT award credits to anyone who has not passed 16 quizzes.

What do I need to do after I pass 16 quizzes?

Once you have received your certificate, no further action will be required by you. Our team receives copies of each certificate and will periodically submit them to NATE. You should receive continuing education credits within a month of receiving your 16-credit certificate.
