IN-PERSON + VIRTUAL

Event Starts: 01/23/2026 Friday 8:50 am
Event Ends: 01/23/2026 Friday 9:10 am

Andrew Holden will explain how a typical thermistor circuit works in HVAC applications. He will teach about how the board measures the resistance of the thermistor and correlates it to a temperature. This session will show techs that they have more options to diagnose thermistor problems than measuring the resistance of the thermistor itself, and Andrew will share a few stories from the field about moisture ingression/circuit board issues that don’t directly involve the thermistor itself.
